The members of the Energy Storage Coalition are taking the next step by turning the Coalition into the Energy Storage Coordination Group, an informal platform that allows for enlarged participation and increased impact.

Transitioning to a renewables-based energy system to boost Europe’s energy security, competitiveness and decarbonisation requires an enabling policy framework for the accelerated deployment of storage solutions in all time frames. A growing number of actors committed to climate neutrality work to that end. The Energy Storage Coordination Group provides an informal framework to exchange intelligence and, where appropriate, coordinate on advocacy initiatives to accelerate the deployment of energy storage solutions towards a cost-efficient, resilient and climate neutral European energy system.
